I’m running in this by-election because the Liberal-controlled Council isn’t focused on the community.

Instead, we keep seeing one scandal after another while the basics are being ignored. Rubbish sits for weeks, grass isn’t being cut and potholes aren’t being fixed. It’s even led to a public inquiry.

Liverpool is my home. I grew up here, went to local public schools and I’m raising my kids here.

If elected, I’ll focus on you. That means:

• Stopping jobs for mates
• Building the roads, footpaths and parks our growing suburbs need
• Protecting our sporting and community facilities from privatisation

It’s time for a fresh approach at Liverpool Council.
